Stanley Piha, President
Stanley Piha was born, raised and educated in Seattle, Washington. Upon graduation from the University of Washington with a degree in Business Administration, Stanley joined the real estate firm of Morris Piha Company. After being affiliated with Morris Piha Company for approximately nine years, Stanley ventured on his own to open Stanley Real Estate, Inc.
Over the span of his career, Stanley Piha has represented several Clients and Owners with the sale, acquisition and leasing of their commercial properties. This includes a variety of ownership groups that Stanley has formed for the purpose of owning and operating commercial property for long term investment.
The firm presently manages a variety of property types, including in city commercial properties, multi- family apartment building, retail properties, office warehouse distribution and multi story and multi tenanted office buildings.
On behalf of his own account, and for third party Property Owners, Stanley Piha has provided an array of development services. This has included design and construction from the ground up of new projects. He has also engaged in the renovation of existing properties with the goal of re-positioning the property to its highest and best use. The development services include oversight of design, contracting, financing, and lease up to the stabilization for operations.
Over the years Stanley has formed investment groups to acquire, own and operate various types of investment properties. As part of offering seamless service, Stanley Piha has managed the investment groups while Stanley Real Estate, Inc., oversees the daily needs of the properties by undertaking the property management duties. The vertical integration between property owner, and operator has allowed the properties to be managed on the Owners behalf with the utmost care and attention.
Over the years Stanley has been active as a community volunteer and affiliated with an array of service organizations. Stanley has sat on the boards of many organizations including the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle, the B’nai B’rith Hillel Foundation at the University of Washington and Temple De Hirsh Sinai. Stanley has also been a member of Seattle Rotary and is a Paul Harris Fellow.
Stanley Piha is married. He and his wife Valerie have three children. Stanley’s interests include sailing, golf and travel. Stanley and Valerie reside in Seattle, and spend as much time as possible at their summer home on Lopez Island in the San Juan Islands.
Joel Ostroff, Brokerage/Property Management
Joel has been an active broker and property manager in the greater Puget Sound commercial real estate community since 1997. He has been involved in many aspects of commercial real estate including landlord/tenant representation, investment purchases and sales, property management and project management.
Since joining Stanley Real Estate, Inc., in 1999, Joel has managed a variety of property types including; multi-family, industrial, office and retail. Being involved with the day to day operations of a multitude of property types, Joel provides practical experience and knowledge to clients.
Joel is a Seattle native and resides in Seattle with his wife, Leslie and two daughters, Torry and Kaya. In his spare time Joel enjoys spending time with his family and camping.
Shawna Holt, Bookeeper/Office Manager
Shawna Holt, bookkeeper and office manager rounds out the team. She brings her 40+ years of bookkeeping and 20+ years of management experience to the office.
Shawna has been living in Seattle since 1972. She enjoys spending time in outdoor activities which include trail running, kayaking and biking.
